PARIS– In a recent column, my New York Times colleague Eric Asimov visits Andalucia, in Spain, the source of manzanilla and other sherry.
Sherry, as Eric notes, is a tough sell, even if it is enjoying something of a renaissance among a narrow circle of connoisseurs. When I lived in London, I drank a bit of the stuff from time to time. In Paris, where I now live, it is a very rare sight.
